Part Seven: Dick Tricks Redux
Since I work in a porn store and sell cock rings all day, I thought I'd share some of what I teach people all the time.

First: Why a cock ring? What does it fo for you? Well, it looks cool, for one. For another, it helps maintain an erection. It holds the blood in the penis better, so it's often a longer, harder erection. Many men (myself included) report stronger orgasms while wearing a cock ring. A cock ring worn under clothing (without the erection) creates a more pronounced "package". Likely there are other reasons and purposes as well, but these are the highlights.

Often, I'm asked, "How do I know my size?" Well, the answer is, "likely, you don't." We sell 1ž" diameter rings most often, but there's a lot of variation -- in girth, desired tightness, visual appeal, and size of testicles. As you see in figure one, the solid cock ring (rubber, neoprene, steel, aluminum, titanium or chrome) must go over the balls first, so there's an occassional man with large balls who can't get a tight enough fit.

First one testicle is passed through the ring, then the other. Finally, the flaccid penis is squished through and everything is adjusted to comfort before allowing erection. Stretchy rings like neoprene or silicone "gummi" rings can be simply stretched around the whole thing and (gently) released into place.

For these men with large balls and those who don't know their size we recommend an adjustable leather strap, with snaps or buckles. A little experimentation will help the gent figure out how tight he likes it.

Penis straps often come with an attached ball stretcher that tugs the balls downward -- a sensation many men find pleasurable, and a look many find pleasing to the eye. In the secend image in figure 2, there is yet another strap attached that spreads the balls apart.

Again, this is largely aesthetic. Ball stretchers also come on their own (figure 3).

They also get more complex, as in the case of the parachute stretcher (figure 4), and the chrome weight (figure 5).

Other types include the T-splitter (figure 6), V-spreader (figure 7), figure 8 (figure 8), and the lovely and exciting 3-ring (figure 9).

Of particular interest is the contraption known as the "gates of hell". Pictured here (figure 10), is a leather 4-strap "gates". In the upper right is the common way to wear one. Below that is the device being worn upside-down, with the strap connecting the cockring to the shaft straps being used as a ball spreader. On the left -- every other strap is snapped backwards, binding the penis to that of another. For those folks interested in experiences including more than one penis.
