Joined, as we were, in the ephemeral past,

And sudden as it was we were thrown together,

Surely it is a miracle that anything had time to grow.

Only something as Eternal as Love

Needs to exist so fervently.

Love must not be taken lightly.

Ultimately, Love is all there is.

Live each day as if it were your last, my sweet,

And let each beat of your heart be as a declaration: "I AM!"

Yet remember me, too, my love, and we can BE together.
