    There's a woman I know:

I call her Amanda, for she must be loved.

I call her Felicia, for she makes me happy.

I call her Dea, for she is my goddess .

I call her Eve, for I would wish to be with her alone.

    I watch her, and speak to her nulls,

    And wish I'd said something.

    Yet like Cyrano, I fear

    The long nose of my soul,

    The grotesqueness of my person

    Would turn her away.

    So I speak to her nulls,

    And she cannot know,

    Cannot understand,

    For I do not let her:

    I just watch her, and speak to her nulls.

Yet she must be loved, my Amanda.

She brings happiness, my Felicia.

She is a goddess, is my Dea.

And I wish I could be with my Eve alone,

    This woman I know
